This month we met with Mrs. Clark in the Cozy Corner! We learned that Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Barr painted the room. Mrs. Marshall, Mr.Riley, and Mrs. Barr donated beach theme items and a big table. We liked it there!

Do you have kids?
Yes. My daughter Summer is 11 and my son Noah is 9. I am now wearing Summer’s shoes!
Who was your favorite teacher as a kid?
My favorite teacher was Mr. Sullivan in 6th grade elementary. He was my first male teacher and I cried for the first 6 weeks! But he took the opportunity to help me with math. He bought me a math workbook with his own money. I still miss him.
What is your favorite grade at South Grade?
Second Grade! I love to teach them and they are cute. I first taught second grade. It is a “just right” grade for me. (Caleb said like Goldilocks!)
What is your favorite subject?
Reading!!! I struggle a little bit in Math but I love reading different things.
What is your favorite Holiday?
Thanksgiving because I can spend time with my family and not have to worry about presents. And the food. I like the food. Gobble! Gobble!
Where were you born?
West Palm Beach Florida. My dad and my brother were born at the same hospital as me, too!
Do you go shopping?
Yes I do! I love shopping. Target is my favorite store. I saw Mrs. Hight at Costco and at the Outlet Mall.
What is your favorite food?
Tacos! I love tacos. Any kind of tacos with everything on it!
What is favorite sport?
I like the Florida Marlins. My son plays baseball. He is a catcher and now is training to be a pitcher.
 Do you have a pet?
We have a dog who is 70 pounds. We call her Nibs because she always nibbles on us. It doesn’t hurt, only sometimes she pinches our skin.
Who is your favorite book as a kid?
Really, as a kid, I liked Little Bear Comes Home because it was the first book I could read by  myself.
What do you do in your spare time?
Drive around my kids and hang out with Nibs.
